Olympia Gyros: A Taste of Authentic Mediterranean Delight in Kathleen, GA

It was my first-time visiting Olympia Gyros. As u enter the facility, u are welcomed with warm decor and a relaxing ambiance, the hostess was attentive to are needs, the food was decent, and despite the price of the dessert, it was well worth every bite. I would recommend checking it out…see for urself. I ordered a sweet tea and chicken bowl for a late lunch and Baklava Cheesecake to-go.

Literally, THE BEST! I crave this place all the time. There's a gentleman ( I think he may be the owner) that greets you while you're at the counter and whether you spend $5 or $200 and feed the office, he is so grateful and thanks you for your purchase. I just can't get enough of this place. Service is great, and food is AMAZING. I highly recommend it.

From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by how clean and beautifully decorated the restaurant was — classy and welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that felt perfect for both a nice night out and a casual meal with my toddler. The food was absolutely incredible. I had the chicken gyro sandwich with pita, and it was hands-down one of the best gyros I’ve ever had in my life. The portion was huge — I honestly don’t know how I managed to eat the whole thing, but it was too delicious to leave a single bite behind! My five-year-old had the chicken shish kebabs with fries, and the serving was so generous, even for a hungry kid! He loved every bite, which is a huge win when dining with a toddler. To top it all off, the service was fantastic. The staff was attentive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Olympia Gyro is now one of our favorite spots, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for fresh, flavorful food and a top-tier dining experience! We are visiting my parents who live here, so we will make sure to make this a place we visit anytime we visit from Florida! Go give this place a try please!

My husband and I are always wanting to try this place. We are impressed by how organized the server was, I can't remember her name but she is knowledgeable and friendly, and really helped us decide what to get. I got a shrimp bowl with tahini sauce and pitas, my husband got steak with tzatziki sauce and everything was delicious! The interior of the restaurant is clean, pleasant and they have some baby's breath flowers on their table vase which I thought was nice. Over all we had a nice dining experience.

Wife, daughter and I were headed to Savannah, GA and stopped for lunch half through our trip on Saturday. Being in a mini strip of shops, the outside does not look like much. But the inside is fancier than expected, the light fixtures are more like pieces of art. They also have the cleanest and nicest restrooms, this, the food and the service screams family run restaurant. Now the Food, we ordered the sampler with hummus, tzatziki, olives, feta cheese, peppers, rice, and crispy toasted pita wedges and dolmas (grape leave wraps, one of my favorites). For entrees, Daughter ordered the gyro platter, wife ordered a side of gyro meat and side of tzatziki sauce. I ordered two orders of the gyro meat to eat with the sampler. We had leftovers to take with us and ate them as a bedtime snack.

The owner is incredibly friendly to customers and staff. More than once he has offered me free drinks or an appetizer to encourage me to return with friends. (See pictured below) The food is delicious. I haven't ordered anything I didn't like. The waitresses are cute and friendly. Food comes out quick and prices aren't crazy. Amazing paintings on the wall. Good place to go on a date or take your family. Will be back with friends.

Great tasting gyro platter big portions. Very fresh feeling. Vibrant atmosphere with Greek vibes with artwork of the Mediterranean on the wall to accompany the greek food . Expect to spend 16$ here for a lunch special and a drink before tip

Atmosphere was great! They're limited in space but the arrangement of tables and decor make it seem bigger and keep the personal feel. The food was absolutely AMAZING! We had a party of 4 and all ordered something different, all of us loved each dish. Service couldn't have been better, very well taken care of. This was our first visit but will definitely not be our last. We're already excited for the next trip!
